Control Air Conditioning Corporation is looking to hire several organized, timely, and respectful HVAC Sheetmetal CAD Detailers.  This is a union position, but non-union Detailers are welcome to apply (we can help get you placed into the union based on current wage and experience).  We have openings for those with 1+ years of experience and those with 5+ years of experience.  Experience with AutoCAD Fabrication and Revit is preferred, but we can provide some training as well.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• HVAC Sheetmetal Detailing (BIM 3-D coordination, AutoCAD, Revit, etc).
• Report directly to Detailing Supervisor.
• Coordinate with other detailers as well as project management, directors, owners, other trades, etc.
• Learn all software programs utilized in the day-to-day business operations of the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Characteristics:

• Must be proficient in BIM 3-D coordination & AutoCAD (Revit as well) -- will provide some training.
• 1+ years experience in HVAC Sheetmetal is required (5+ preferred).
• Strong conceptual (3-D) skills needed.
• Must have a strong work ethic and a “can-do” problem solving attitude.
• Must be an excellent listener and communicator.
• Previous construction experience a plus.
• Previous computer experience a big plus (i.e. gaming - as what we do is similar to Minecraft on steroids).
